I am new to this site. I am in my 3rd month of treatment second try. I cant find support groups to talk to people in my area and it is following a point that no cares > I am new to this site. There are quite a few of us that have done tx two or more times, I've done two rounds myself. What kind of tx are you doing this time around? Don't hesitate to ask questions or to add to discussions. BTW, what area are you from? We've got people here from around the globe, maybe one of them can help you with a local support group, I'm in Texas, around the DFW area, but this is the only support group I've ever been associated with, at least for Hep-C. Dwight Hi Dragonfly, wecome to the group. I know what you mean about finding a support group in your area. I finally found one thru the www.liverfoundation.org in my area (Buffalo, NY) only to discover that they don't meet in the summer, argh. This group though has been a great support and I learned a lot, there being much knowledge and experience here. I am only on my 1st attempt at tx (15th week) though. Unlike those local groups that are unavailable (and presumably cured) during the Summer or during individual birthday celebrations and national crises, ash-c is here to provide support every week of the year on both Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:00 pm. -BG > I am new to this site. Especially about tx, religion and politics. I've done two rounds of tx myself. The second was cut short at 30 weeks due to the mutant little cells multiplying in spite of the daily Infergen and riba. Kicked my a.s, but not the little HCV bugs. Keep talking, Steve |
