I just don't get it. They say all ng's have occasional and resident psychopaths. I don't know about that, because this is the only one I have ever followed (for more than a year now). I am sorry to say that here in ash - c I have learned how relentless antagonism and verbal abuse drives good people away. I wish killfiles were a more viable concept. I suppose some people grow deeply bitter and hateful when they are ill, and if they are habitual electron users they can smear their rotten bile in a thousand ways every day. What a shame. The failure of compassion. I'm not sure if I can offer anything useful to this awful new dialogue in ash-c, except to say thank you for your consistent and civilized voice in this odd tribe. I was kinda feeling the same way... still a double standard in this NG :) Spidey, you are a neat lady and my instinct is to like you and respect you. Until you decide to speak for me, and what you are saying is NOT what I feel. I found it very interesting that this guy wrote in and informed us of Cody's manipulation of his IDs, right after Canadave pulled out of the group because someone has been posting using HIS name. Hmmm. And you stick up for Cody yet again :) Fight Cody's battles if you want, that's your choice and your right. Sara and Eileen: I was not speaking for either of you, nor am I fighting Cody's battles, but felt that I had to speak my mind after reading Yelps' posts. Whatever. If you want to draw battle lines and make this about Cody, fly at it. Ash-c can't get much worse than what it's deteriorated to this past while. Very sad; I do miss it. WS |
