There are plenty of folks here that made it through therapy only by the grace
of herbal refreshment. I'm one of them.

Maybe there might be a problem, cannabis is often fingered as an immune system
suppressor (there are cannabinoid receptors in certain cells that play a role
in the immune system) although there are studies that refute that conclusion.

I was aware of both sides of that question going in. I made my decision to "go
green" to give me the best shot at keeping 100% compliant with the therapy
regimen, something I consider to be *way* more significant than the potential
immune system impairment...

Cheers

Marijuana presents possible problems which you are likely already aware
of--and I suppose it might exacerabate the brain-fog sides so
frequently attributed to interferon. On the otherhand, it's often
touted as a practical anti-nausea agent, among other things.

Regardless of whether or not marijuana use may introduce problems or
provide remedies, you may not need any of the remedies in mind. If you
are thinking about using it to help deal with side effects, note that
not everybody sufferers the sides the same as others do. There is a
wide spectrum of sides, both in quality and intensity, and I don't
think anybody knows what will be their experience until they are having
that experience.

I'm into my fifth week of Pegasys/Copegus (inteferon/ribavirin) and the
sides so far have been mild in comparison to what I was bracing for
when I started. Strange, how typical it is for people to insist my
sides must be the same as so-and-so experienced, as if everybody
necessarily goes through the same thing

BG.
