well, it's a start :)

did my first shot last night.  Not toooo bad.. headache, legs
ache a bit, back is bothering me but I have back problems.  had
the chills for a couple hours around 6am, but some tylenol and
cuddling up to hubby helped that....

could have been a lot worse

Hi Sara,
You should do well, I think unless the thyroid thing gets to you.  It
doesn't happen to most people from what I've seen on this support line.
What's really good is having your husband so (snuggle) close to you, by the
end of 48, don't be surprised if he becomes the major housekeeper and
logistical reenforcement you will need.  One thing that most people
experience is anemia, You don't want to know what my blood work looked like
in the last month of my treatment, but we all live through that, and it
really helps having living, breathing support close to you, as well as the
sounding board that this support group provides so well.

Best of luck, keep on kicking that dragon's butt.

CJ, you are awesome.  thanks so much for your support -- I
appreciate it so much.

I can be a baby, I don't like pain.  But I know I am very lucky
that I can stay home and take it easy through this whole thing,
and that has to make it a lot easier than what many have to go
through.

wishing all the best for you in your battle --  you WILL kill
that dragon next time around!

hugs

Unfortunetly I'm one of the few that has thyroid issues on tx. I guess it's
pretty rare. But it doesn't hurt to ask for TSH during normal blood tests.

Actually, the thyroid thing is pretty common while on treatment.  A
bunch of us here have experienced it.

I am so glad you did well, ya know, enough to still be able to type.
Tonite's my first shot, I hope to have mine go as well.  I think I have
everything ready, I even washed another fresh pair of sheets and also
made the guest bedroom up fresh too. Just in case.
How much water did you drink?  I am aiming for 3/4 gallon per day, it's
a lot for me so far but I do know the importance of it.
Keep up the good work, and I will post in the morning or afternoon
when I get moving.
Take Care...............e

Well you did it!  You put your warrior outfit on and decided upon
slaying!
It's the next night now you should be feeling a little better? I hope
so.

Good luck,

Thanks MA...  not feeling too bad, but ready for some sleep!
took it easy today but did some chores, some laundry.... just
didn't push too hard.   a little achy now but just about time for
some more tylenol then hit the bed.

one more container of water to get down!  finding that easier
than I expected... I've been dry so need to drink.
