Relatively uneventful weekend.  The highest my fever gets is about
99.6 and I really don't feel too bad.  The fever is usually gone by
Monday evening.  I've been able to eat normally although I usually
don't have much of an appetite until Wednesday.  Also, everything
seems to taste like it has way too much salt in it.

The one thing I have noticed more than anything is the anemia.  My
hemoglobin must be down considerably as it is all I can do to make it
up a flight of stairs.  If I try two flights,  my legs are on fire and
I'm panting heavily. It's a strange feeling not to have any stamina.

Considering you just began tx this past weekend, I'd say it's a bit too
early to be experiencing anemia.  When do you see your doctor to have
labs drawn.  I would think he'd be testing you this Friday.

I think Elmo is correct about this. It could just be the drugs are kicking
your a.s, your body is adjusting to the onslaught of medication. It's worth
looking into with your doctor. Are you taking a good multi vitamin since
your diet has been poor? Find one without iron and lots' of folic acid, it
should help keep your blood counts up. Hell, it may even make you feel
better!

And don't forget!! LOW SODIUM!!! Use sea-salt!! It has all the great taste
and according to a recent consumer affairs study has as much as 60% less
sodium than "Mined" salt. When I was first diagnosed my BCLD put me on a
1,200 mg's of sodium per day diet!!! After a week I could smell the salt on
my wife's breath after eating popcorn at the movies!!! I even had her roll
over so she would breath on me!!! No joke!!! hahaha....
