I've done a lot of whining in here lately and I'd like to apoligize to
everyone.  The idea of this group is to offer support, not use it as a forum
to air my gripes and tell y'all just how rotten my life is.  I got my
equilibrium back last night--it just kind of washed over me--and I'm me
again.  I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but look out!
Here she comes!

welcome back Thip :)  and speaking for myself, I think this is
the perfect place to vent when we are scared, angry, confused, or
experiencing any other emotion that we are having a hard time
dealing with.  You have friends here, folks who can understand
where you're coming from most of the time....  and that's what
friends do - they listen, they share, they help however they can.

gripe when you need to :) I'm sure you've listened to more than
your share of gripes here in your time :)  we can all take turns
:)

How can anyone support if they don't hear the whine!  Thipper your
whine/story helped me to quit feeling sorry for myself.  Well a little
bit lol cause I am still moaning.  Support equals pain and advice.

Thipper, give your head a shake. Although you had every reason to whine and
no one would have minded, you didn't. What you did was share with us that
you weren't having a particularly good week from a medical perspective. It
seems that society programs us to apologize for suffering misfortune and
being ill... rather bizarre when you think about it.

Glad to hear that you're feeling better. You've got amazing resiliance and
that will serve you well in your health challenges. In other words, "You go,
girl!"

Aw, c'mon, no need to apologize, Thipper. "Support" takes many forms,
including just being out here in the ether, listening, empathizing.

And everyone needs a really good, cleansing whining jag once in awhile :-)

Hang in there, kiddo.

Heeeeey! It's ok to do that now and then. Lord know that you hear it from us
enough. Speaking of which, mine is just around the corner. :)

I beg your pardon?  Whining?   Part of this group is to provide
somewhere to vent your frustrations, in a familiar environment,
surrounded by friends..

Thip, considering you provided VITAL support to ME in my time of need,
to say you're "whining" would be cruel of me. As far as I am concerned,
you have never been a "whiner"..

PLEASE FEEL FREE...

Take care hon..

Where better to whine than among friends? Whine on!
Russ - 27 Feb 2006 05:39 GMT
ah don't worry about it Thip, that's why they call it a support group, to
give support.

I'm glad your feeling better.

Thip,Most of us here have done the same thing. And I really don't think you
were whining. You were just looking for support. And isn't that what this
great group is all about? When I feel like I'm starting to become overwhelmed
I take my Xanax and Norco's and that helps a lot,I can't find a anti-d that
works without terrible sides.I was really worried about dependence on them
but my BCLD jumped my a.s and told me to take the meds and worry about
dependence later(if I become dependent on them at all).

Peace & SVR,

Thanks {{{group hug!!!}}}
Shawn - 27 Feb 2006 20:24 GMT
Dear, Dear Thip. That's what a support group is for, support. If you didn't
have anything to whine about this would be a very dull place to be, now
wouldn't it!! This is the only place where you vent and someone out there
knows intimately what going on in your head! That's where the support comes
in! It's like one big circle, whine, support, whine, support get it!!!
Sending big hugs,
