In Mexico, the standard fine for MJ is 10,000 US dollars, whether you
have one joint or a ton. If you are a Mexican, the standard fine is
about 2 dollars.

Go to your local Farmacia and ask the pharmacist what would be good. I
am sure he or she will come up with something effective. Or, just ask
for "codeina".

Mags sweetie....I get "those" kinds of headaches sometimes. I have vicodan
and it does nothing. I have to lay down with ice packs on my temples or
where ever the pain is....it sucks since you are on vacation, but if nothing
else helps....try it.

Hope you feel better soon kiddo!

Yes I have been lying in bed and freezing hand towels an putting them
on my head along with wearing dark sunglasses inside.  I guess I
thought going on holidays would be a holiday from the sides.

My doc prescribed 30mg of Codeine. It's supposed to be more liver friendly
than the other stuff. It seems to help most of the time.

Follow Cody's advice. I've been there and there is an American Pharmacia but
I can't remember where it is. But, anyone will do.

I hear you about the headaches, I had them all the time, bad ones. I
could take 3-4 10mg Hydrocodones at once and maybe get 4 hours relief
at times when things were bad. My doc would only give me 60 a month
till the last couple of months I talked him into 90. I would always run
out by the end of the month and just lay on the couch with a towel over
my head till my next script. Funny thing about those, with those
headaches I never felt high, but more normal. I would get an appetite,
they would clear my head up so I could drive. The pain was quite
intense at times and very dilabating.

When you get home get with your doc and see what he can prescribe you.
If I ever do this treatment again, I think 120 Norcos a month would be
about right.

I never had any withdrawel symptoms when I stopped taking them, to the
point, at the end of 11 months of choking down handfuls of assortited
pills and shots every week, I was pretty much sick of the whole thing.

I hope you can find something at la farmicia.

Good luck

Hi Mags, about your headaches.  Get a big bottle of the strongest narcotic
you can buy over-the-counter. Probably some kind of codeine product
(codeine phosphate?).  Avoid the stuff mixed with aspirin, aceteminophen
or ibuprofen. Buy tablets so you can break them up into smaller doses.
I'm not suggesting that you take large doses, because it will plug up your
guts. Ouch.  But if it helps you, you can divvy it up over time when you
get home.  If you hate the stuff you can mail it to me.  Not Lol.

If coming into/through the US I think it's legal to bring in a 90 day
supply (?).  Maybe better to keep the bottle sealed.

BTW, unlike the idiot country I live in, you can buy codeine
over-the-counter in Canada, but it's a low dose (15mg) and always comes
mixed with caffeine plus aspirin or aceteminphen. Typically called AC&C.
I used to rely on it when I traveled in and out of BC alot.

Oddly, I've never really gotten alot of headaches with tx.  I just felt
like I was being electrocuted for the first six months.  Luckily my Rheum
understood the problem and prescribed hydrocodone (a CNS depressant narc).
I don't take very much because I don't like my lunch to be stuck in my
guts for 3 days.

Well la la la.
6 more vials to go- there is a gremlin keeps adding vials in my
refrigerator ?!  I'm going to have to relearn to count.

I wish you could stay there for a few more months and have my fun for me.

Bye now.  Coconuts.

Hey Kjoh! and P.V. Mags! As far as the constipation goes get some Senna-S
(that's the pusher-outer) and a bottle of Lactulose, you need a script for
those. The Lactulose is the lubricator! Believe me at 560mg of oxycontin a
day for several years now, those will keep you regular without unpleasant
results!

That was one of the good side affects of the narcotics, it would  bind
me up. I had constant diahriah, lord I coudn't get 20 feet from a
toilet some days!

Yo Russ.  It seems like it must be the riba that causes the poops
(diariah?! :)  That's one of the few sides I haven't had. Did you always
take your riba with a meal?

Got all new pearly whites yet?

Sometimes it was hard to eat anything, but I would at least take my
morning Riba with some milk or my fav was vanilla slim fast blended
with a banana. My other two main food groups was Lucky Charms and Hagan
Daz "Cookies and Cream".

Wednesday I get my last gold crown installed and finished.

About another 3 weeks and I'll be making plans to migrate north. Trying
to figure out a plan to visit as many Dragon Warriors as I can.

Hey Russ,
I'm fairly certain that your migration will take you through Vancouver, and
I might be able to meet you there if you can't make it up the Sunshine
Coast, which would be a bit of a side trip. Keep in touch,
Spidey

I didn't read your post before I posted on this Russ. I hear you and agree.
the Doc even told me so, after the Colonoscopy and removal of all those
things growing among the forests and fields. I've tried all those over the
counter things like Pepto Bismol, liquids and tabs. Just wouldn't get it.
Funny how that works, but it does.

Or me! Please. I just want to add that my doc said that in most cases with
codeine phosphates, constipation happens. In others (like me) that
experience stomach disorders like diverticulosis, where diarrhea can become
a problem, those narcs can actually counter that problem and be a welcome
relief along with countering pain, which is the main objective anyway. So
some people will complain about constipation and others will be grateful
for not having the squirts. Just what I was told, and it seems to be the
case. I think I mentioned before that it should still be an over the
counter item here. Maybe I should take trips to Canada before the
Conservatives change it all around?
