Gordo Mondragon - 08 Dec 2005 23:15 GMT Ray -
While I don't think there are known problems with mixing MDMA with the treatment drugs, I think the last thing you'd want to do is mix the possible sick feelings from the meds with the feelings from rolling on X.
Most people find that the drugs that work with the effects of treatment are those that slow you down, keep you even, smooth off the edges. I've got nothing against recreational drugs but based on my experience with treatment - especially at the beginning - I wouldn't do it.

RAY - 08 Dec 2005 23:33 GMT good on ya mate thanks for the advise. i,ll take it on board. you have a good xmass an new year.
cactus jammies - 08 Dec 2005 23:34 GMT Ray, You had better check that out, man. I have read on this group from information from medical sources that X can f.ck up your liver badly, calling for an immediate transplant. I kid you NOT.
OTH, peyote is not tracible in any form of metabolite in the human system, google Native American Church or whatever its called. You'll find it. I don't take peyote, by the way. But I am getting reverend papers for my trips down in redstates.
hope this helps

> thanks mate but i recon peyote will be out of the question as i,m in > australia. i,ll just see what the night brings . Gordo Mondragon - 09 Dec 2005 00:48 GMT I just spent some time doing some research on this. Given the massive numbers of people who have taken MDMA regularly over long periods of time over the last decade and half, it would be fair to say that chances of it causing liver damage are exceedingly low.
However - the documented cases, however rare, can't be completely attributed to other causes - adulturants, overdose, water intoxication, combinations of drugs, etc. It seems to be that some people, however few, just have a very bad reaction to it. Some from one dose, some from taking it a few times, some from longer-term use. The vast majority of people don't have any liver problems from it.
So if it was me, and there was something wrong with my liver - which Hep C infects - I wouldn't go near the stuff the same way I wouldn't drink alcohol.

RAY - 09 Dec 2005 03:21 GMT yep understand what your saying. i guess after monday i,ll know what effect the therapy is going to have on me. hopefully none whatsoever. that would be wishfull thinking i reacon. thanks buddy.

Ray, I too wanted to do just one more hit of ex before treatment. But since I was researching everything I researched that. I found that several folks who likely were on binges ended up in the hospital needing a new liver within just days after partying. These folks had no known liver issues. you do. So I didn't do it. I was bummin cause I only used to do it as a special treat once or twice a year. great fun but bad drugs.
Please consider skipping it. Smokem some pot

RAY - 09 Dec 2005 00:02 GMT cool yeah i been smoking every day for the past 25 years give or take a week or so. love me pot. just dont want to be feeling shitty for the party an sitting in the corner while everyone else is boogying. but then again thats how i ended up like this aye. maybe i,ll just get a good movie sit at home and chill.
Gordo Mondragon - 09 Dec 2005 00:29 GMT Ray -
My advice: mix up a batch of special brownies and join the fun. You probably won't feel like boogying anyway, and the MJ does wonders for the treatment side-effects.

Bob Mackie - 09 Dec 2005 01:03 GMT the best advice, but I think by the sounds of it, you should have a few doses of MJ on hand, like hashish or hasish resin or kif.

I know you said to drink water with the ecstacy but tx meds dehydrate you and ecstacy dehydrates you too. Apart from the obvious physical issues, tx meds can produce some awful mood swings and I question whether mixing them with a drug like ecstacy is such a great idea. If it's important to you to have a fun time at new year, maybe delay starting tx? (unless you have been medically advised that immediate start is important).

Do you have a death wish? It seems to me your not taking your disease of hep c very seriously at all. You need to straighten up before you start tx. It is very demanding and requires a full time commitment. Either your not very old or your just plain silly and don't know any better. Do you want to jeopardize your chances for getting rid of hep c or what. Any thing that will tax your liver you need to forget and leave behind. Smoke some bud and start behaving your self Ray and put the fun on hold for a while. Once you start tx your going to find that just surviving on a daily bases is going to consume you. cactus jammies - 10 Dec 2005 00:40 GMT no, its from the altered State of Mind going perennial! I liked your reference to shake for the ghee, Gordo, I figured it would be you that added that to the string, and yes to all those questions in canada for liscensed MJ, underground support nets, and the fact that we're chemo patients when on the TX. That's for all the johnny and jenny canucks on this list.
the answer to your question is no, it was my head that slipped in there ooops

Lots of advice to not do it, but would wager that two weeks after you start treatment that as a probably sensible man you'll figure out that it's not something you feel like doing.
