American Justice was doing a report on "Dead Woman Walking: The Karla
Faye Tucker Story" In the report they reported that Karla's mother
died of hepatitis.  I know there are cases where hepatitis affects
organs other than the liver, but I have never heard of anyone dying of
hepatitis.   Can this happen in cases other than liver failure?

Kilowatt,
It could be that hepatitis was the found cause of her liver degredation
after many and prolonged "insults to the liver" as the GI might say.

I think that's because the death is categorized as liver failure, cirrhosis
or some other hep c-caused fatal activity.
