To clarify, the shots I'm talking about are the pegasys.

Yes, Check your Blood levels more often DEFINITELY. it can go either
way, from what I have been told, But being a type II MYSELF, or EX
rather, (I'll explain) that I know all about it.
I said EX type 2 diabetic, because during treatment my Blood numbers
almost NEVER rose over 99. No matter what or when I ate. My BCLD then
told me one day during an appointment, about new Research that was
coming out showing That hep-c could CAUSE some diabetics. And that with
subsequent treatment and cure, the diabetes would dissapear. This now
is what appears to have happened to me, Both my doctors think. even
though I DID drop quite a load. (around 40 Lbs.)
I NO-longer take medication, still watch what I eat, and check my Blood
about once a week. It has NEVER been other than low, or middle of the
road Normal.
I'm done with Treatment now, and waiting the coveted SVR. But, I'm
already happier than a puppy with 2 peckers about it.

Wow, you have good reason to be happy. Hopefully you killed two birds with
one stone. Best of luck on your SVR.
sh.t.....I found out that my glucose meter was unreliable when my red blood
count dropped below 12 in the middle of treatment (riba does this).
Very few meters are made to operate correctly when red blood cell count
drops low 12. My meter was off an average of 85 points (high) and I had to
get a different model to get accurate tests.
Check this out with your endocrinologist of a local diabetes clinic.
Kill that Dragon!
Rock on!
