Hi everyone-

I read that previous post with interest. I had those same thoughts before

I wonder, I feel better then I have in years. ........

I have met a most interesting woman on the internet who lives in Cheboksary,

LOL! Russ has fallen for the Russian marriage scam! Oh well, we won't be
hearing from him anymore after he goes to Russia to meet his "bride".

AHAHAHAHAHA!

If there was a prick around that deserves it, it's Russ.

What's the matter, Russ, are you too ugly to find a woman in person? Be sure
and think of me when the Russian mafia kicks your a.s.

Cody, you have really bottomed out. I have seen some hateful and unworthy
things on the internet, but you have set some kind of record. This
unwarranted attack on this man is filled with pure hatred. Exactly the kind
of hatred that this newsgroup could do much better without. You need help.
Desperately. Don't go away mad, just go away.

Really? I don't think so, chum. I don't hate Russ. I don't like some of the
posts he's posted but that doesn't mean I hate him. Since when can you read
the heart of a man? You have no idea how I feel.

I'm not mad and I won't go away. If you don't like that and if you don't
have any self control, plonk me so you won't be tempted to read my posts.

Oh, and I notice that you never, ever say anything about Russ' posts. Why is
that? Yaknow, these:

I have plonked you a number of times, but just like a bad penny, you keep
turning up.In answer to your question, no I cannot "read the heart of a
man".But, I can read his words.Because we speak the same language, your
words mean the same thing to me as they do to you, and they are dripping
with venom. With all of the banter around here, with posts going back and
forth, I'm not too impressed with your taking the time and effort to
research, find and take somebody's words, and sentences and twist them
around, all out of context. I don't know why you do what it is that you do,
I just wish you would stop the provocation, and find yourself a more worthy
pursuit. You could never convince me that what  you wrote about Russ was for
his own god, or benefit, nor, out of concern for him or anybody else. It was
pure, spiteful, evil, hatred. I call them as I see them.

Yada, yada, yada. Let's see you put them "in context" and change the meaning
to something positive:

Um, regardless on how I phrased it -- or you took it, it was a warning. What
is there about "think of me when the Russian mafia kicks your a.s" that you
don't understand? What is there about "the Russian marriage scam" that you
don't understand? Is English your native language or do you just have a
reading comprehension problem?

You're making me laugh again.

Twist and twist words, eh?

So, as you are the one that always knows which is the "truth", this time
I'll mind to let you know that you were _not_ warning your beloved
friend Russ because you were concerned about his trip to Russia and
about the "Russian Bride scam".
NO, the message you passed through was different to everyone else and it
sounded like: "Ahahaha, look at this poor man that is begging for a
woman in the Internet, is being pissed off by one and even minds to post
the whole thing here so that you all can read it! Stupid, isnt'it? Ahahaha".

Again, was this a warning? AHAHAHAHA!

And, one more thing, English is not my native language, and you already
knew it (you told me once) but I don't really have any reading
comprehension problem (at least this time).

Whatever, arguing with you is much more funny that labelling sources, up
to know.

Watch out, Russ, my darling, granpa Cody is worried about you!
AHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Somebody's gotta worry about him. After all, what he's planning to do is
pretty dangerous. The fact that big bad old Russ once threatened to come
here and kick my a.s made the possibility of his getting his a.s kicked for
falling for one of the oldest scams online did kinda hit my funny bone.

And your reply did hit and still hits mine.

Ah, one more thing: I do use to post through Google, so I know my real
(not munged) address is posted in Usenet sometimes but I would like to
be the one who decide when it happens.
So, you please stop this thing of un-munging and publishing other
people's addresses, eh. It looks like a childish behavior, you know.

Later on, Cody.

And the question still is: "as my address was munged in the post we're

it?".

Again, later on, Cody.

Which Jeeb did. It was YOU that exposed his real e-mail to spammers, not
he. Which shows that you're no better than a spammer yourself.

Exactly. If you use an email that doesn't exist and can't be figured out
cause there's nothing to figure out, you never run the risk of that
happening, be it by moi or anyone else. Your moral judgement is your problem
and irrevelant.

So, do you have any advice for Russ regarding the advisibility of going for
a Russian "bride" or are you just going to get Usenet anal?

Hardly. It's not just my moral judgment, it's the judgment of 99% of
Usenet participants. Except for your distorted view of reality. You are
trying to force your view (which runs counter to all published Usenet
RFCs) on everyone else.

If you expose the e-mail of others to spammers, you are even worse than
the spammers themselves. They are doing it for the money, you do it out
of spite. Despicable.

>So, do you have any advice for Russ regarding the advisibility of going for
>a Russian "bride" or are you just going to get Usenet anal?

In contrast to you, I don't believe everyone else on earth is a complete
idiot and that I am the one in possession of THE TRUTH. I'm pretty
confident that Russ won't fall head over heels for a scam, and that
he'll recognize the warning signs when he sees them. He might get
nothing out of that trip other than a nice sightseeing tour, but the
risk of serious harm is rather low. Assuming that he doesn't travel with
big bundles of cash, what are "they" going to do, sell his organs?

Cody, your the dick head. I get "marriage scam" every week. Easy to spot and
zap. I have also met and loved many women from the internet and made many
friends, including here. The world is a more accessible place and it's
become one planet, one people. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what
the scams are. They get right to the point and ask for money. This is
different.

And I like to travel. It would be an interesting trip and the worst that
could happen is I would have a new friend in another country.

But your obvious limited intelligence and ignorance prevents you from
looking at the bigger picture. Cody looks through a hole in the fence of
life and has nothing better then to brow beat people of their beliefs and
thoughts. Such a big ego and no self esteem, grow up old man.....

But go ahead, make yourself a fool. And for the "Russian mafia", What the

Just an observation. If most spontaneous clearance occurs, with the
first 6 months, but rarely thereafter. It would seem that the virus is
downgrading the immune system. How that happening I dont know.
Impacitng the liver or maybe something else?

I did notice the last few years before being diagnosed I was getting
the flu every year. Prior to that my immune system wasnt  being
impacted noticeably.I seldom got the flu.  I used IV drugs between
1970-1976, and had a blood transfusion about 1980, but didnt notice any
impact on my immune system until about the year 2000. My liver
functtion test were slightly high in 1997 but not high enough for the
Doctors to suspect Hep C.. . Perhaps, and Im only guessing, Ive only
had this since about 1995.

If so, then I got it from French Kissing. My Doctor said that was
possible. I had no other known risk factors between 1995-2005 except
that.

My ex-girlfriend during 1995-1997 had been a recent IV drug user,so
maybe I got it from a forbidden kiss. Hopefully, not the kiss of death.

There are some recent studies looking at how the virus mutates very very
quickly as the immune system comes after it.  What's not known is why
the immune system seems to give up after around six months.

Your doctor is an idiot.  I would get a new one if I was you.   This is a
blood born disease.  That would have to be one bizarre french kiss to lead
to Hep C.  You probably got it much earlier.  You won't necessarily feel
any side effects from the HCV.  It could be your live was doing a good job
of fighting the virus, keeping the VL low.  Over time it's often the liver
damage
that causes symptoms, not the virus itself.

Get a new doctor, one that really understands Hep C.

French kissing indeed.

No offense, but it appears you may be wrong.

IOther sexual activities, such as body rubbing, fingering and mutual
masturbation will not transmit the virus. French kissing after
flossing/brushing or when mouth sores are present is POSSIBLY RISKY
"although deep kissing is not a proven route of transmission and the
risk of blood-to-blood contact is extremely low" (BCCDC)

Like I said, it would have to be one bizarre french kiss.  Grant it, my
experience may be limited but I have never had a kiss that involved
blood to blood exchange.  I didn't bother checking out the link.  I did
enough research when I was diagnosed.  The disease can be transmitted
via handshaking ....assuming you both have an open bleeding wound on the
hand and blood is passed from one open wound to the other...but I wouldn't
run around saying you can get it from shaking hands.  Saying you can get
it be kissing infers that it is transmitted in saliva.  By the way, just
touching
infected blood won't cause you to get it.  It has to get from someone elses
blood
stream into yours.  That's why the most common means are contaminated
needles and blood transfusions.  Most of us here shared tooth brushes, had
sex and yes..even french kissed our partners and I haven't heard one person
here say they gave it to their spouse.  So again...I say your doctor is an
idiot.  If kissing is the only at risk activity you have engaged in since
the
blood transfusion than you have had it since 1980.

It probably rare but I think its possible. Given enough French Kisses
and gum disease, possible.

Possible, but in someone who had a history of IV drug use it would seem
sort of silly to suggest that the IV drug use wasn't the probably cause
and that kissing was, years later.
