My doctor has tecommended treatment for my newly diagnosed HCV. They
did some blood test to try and determine extent of liver damage before
treatment. Probably, I have had it undiagnosed for 30 years. Certainly
had it in 1997 with some elevated liver enzymes which the Doctor did
not realize the cause.

So in the meantime Im doing what I can and reading all I can. One thing
Ive realized that there is a percentage of people whose immune systems
are able to fight off the virus successfully for whatever reasons. I
find that interesting.

Probably will undergoe treatment unless my liver is too damageed. But I
dont see any harm in doing what I can to help myself.

One thing I know which actually does strengthen the immune system is a
digestive enzyme called Pancreatin. Its available at Health food stores
and as far as I know there are no adverse effects.

It doesnt come up when I do a search of this newsgroup so I pass it on
to you for whatever use you care to make of it.

All the best

Now Nemesis told me to listen to George Mary Carter who makes more sense than
any X-tian, who all seem hung up on the wonders of pancreatin. If it isn't "wait
for god" it is "take pancreatin". Do they all own shares in the pancreatin
company or what?
