A friend from the Blues Society told me to check him out, bought his CD called "Wetlands" today. Wow, there's not a bum track on it. It's always great to discover fabulous music you've never heard before. Anyone else out there listenin' to Tab? It's "Guitar Tuesday", tomorrow (of course) is "Guitar Wednesday". Go figure? Wish I had a Dragoncaster Slimline for plucking today. Someday...... gonna throw this ole Strat away! Like maybe "Buh - noyt"? In Quebec and in the Acadie in the Canadian Maritimes, the name would most likely be pronounced in the French fashion, such as "Ben - wah" The -noit ending is partially silent. There's a place on the web called "paintedaxe.com" They'll take an ax (junk or not) do a pro setup on it and then do a custom paint scheme. Yours or theirs!! He does the really far out stuff (modern minimalist/post-minimalist composers and his own compositions), and you'd swear his CD was done with multi-track recording. But he does all that crazy sh.t on his 6 and 10 string guitar by himself in real time, including the percussion. Unfuckingbelievable.
