NOPE!

Sorry "Rooney",   a friend of mine has a second home in Arizona. Last
year (as he does EVERY year) he went to Mexico, and brought me back a
Fake Rolex Submariner.  The thing LOOKS great, RUNS great, Looks like
the real thing, (second hand sweeps instead of ticks), and has run great
for over a year. OH YEAH, it cost me 20 Bucks. NOT hundreds.

Before I had a partner who was a musician and I got all interested in
copyrights and ownership and stuff, I used to buy NYC Chinatown ripoff
brand watches.   I didn't care about having a real Rolex, it was sort of
embarrassing to be honest, but some of them looked nice and ran for two
years on one battery, and they cost $12.  I lose watches and jewelry so
$12 was a safe investment to make.
