Just wondering and have a question.
Which John Mayall album are you listening too?
I replaced my long gone LP's with some CD's and had forgotten the Bare
Wires LP with Mick Taylor.  ( I think someone stole it, but then the
deceased could have given it to a friend or something.)
Anyway, get the USA Union.
Also have you heard Super Session with Mike Bloomfield, Al Kooper, and
Stills?
Great licks on that one too.

I've got it on a DVD called John Mayall 70th Birthday Concert with Eric
Clapton, Chris Barber and Mick Taylor.  It's absolutely fabulous!  Of
course I've heard the Super Sessions.  What self respecting student of
the blues wouldn't have?  Get the DVD, it's worth every penny!

One of my ex boyfriends turned me onto John Mayall years ago.  Probably
because we used to hike up to Laurel Canyon.
Seriously, go to amazon and see if you can get Bare Wires, Looking Back,
and the Blues Alone.
It was with great sadness that I gave away the LP's that I and the
Deceased used to own.
I had completely forgotten about bare Wires and while listening to it, I
remembered the deceased picking the Les Paul and playing me to sleep. (
He played Leads).
One of the tricks or picks he used to play was flamenco, nothing better
to increase your pickin speed along with a slide.

Sorry to hear that, Hoof.  Anytime is a bad time to lose loved ones, but
when it happens around the holidays, it hurts even worse.
