Yahoo!  It came back below detectable levels.  I've been walking on cloud
nine all day.  Saw my present doc. in the cafeteria today and she told me
the results.  I waited about a month after the end of treatment to take the
test.

So, next test is at 6  month mark?  Then one on one year
anniversary?  Anymore after that.  My hep doc. is gone, and I have an
interanl med doc. trying to follow-up but she doesn't really know anything
much about this.  She was all grins for me though, because I eat lunch with
her sometimes  and she knows how tough it got.

Hope everyone is doing well....killing that dragon.  I haven't
seen (or heard) my favorite lysol commercial lately with the sound effect of
all those dying bugs.  Music to my ears.  I need to tape record it, and put
it on a loup, plug it in to my cpap machine when I get it.  Should help me
to sleep real sound.  :  )

Woohoo!!!!  Congratulations Susie.

I just did my test last Thursday.  Doc said I will do
another at 6 months and then that's it.

So glad you managed to kill the little buggers off.

That is wonderful news. Since you waited a month, it's a very good sign
that you've achieved SVR.

Yes, 6 months, one year, and two years (just to be on the safe side).
After that, you're in the clear. I'd still get an occasional check-up
now and then, but that's up to you.

All right Susie!! I'm so happy for you. We all are. Get that 6 months
undetectable because that is the real benchmark. Good luck.

Lets go to Subic Bay and celebrate???? lol Buster

Thanks Buster,
Didn't you know?  They dismantled Subic Bay.  I think the hookers are still
their though.  :  )

Six month is the big one?  O.K.  Middle of March then.
Thanks.

Thanks to everyone for the support.  It is appreciated.
I'm almost two months post treatment now and feeling a little stronger all
the time.  Couldn't get the c-pap machine today because they didn't have a
mask.  They are going to try to fly one in for me.  Hope to get it tomorrow.
Today, I found myself  actually looking forward to the future with some
excitement.    For those still  in treatment, I think it helps to find a
dream to accomplish after treatment....something that you can think about
during the worst of times that might bring a smile to your face and resolve
your determination.    A goal to sky dive, or travel, or whatever.  Maybe it
is to just go fishing....like Elmo.
Hope everyone is doing well.
