Darn!  Your team beat the hell out of my Cards, wish my team would have
come out on the field to shake hands like the Dodgers did earlier in the
playoffs.  I'm happy that the curse has ended, just not against my team.
Oh well, there's always next year.......

I'll say!!  Next thing you know, the Taliban will replace the Republican
Party as the majority party in the Senate.  It's a sad, sad day.

It is sweet to see a long suffering but great town like Boston win
one.  Perhaps there is hope one day for the cubs.

Damn it Elmo, I'm still trying to recover from the Boston's comeback
against the Yankees. Rooted for NYY's since I was a kid. That one
really hurt! I can see why New Yorkers' are wearing paper bags over
their heads.

Would have liked to have been a fly on the wall during Steinbrenner's
post playoff meetings in Florida!

Sorry, David.  I've hated the Yankees ever since I was a kid and went to
see a Yankee-Kansas City Angels game in KC.  I leaned over the railing
and asked Mickey Mantle for his autograph while he was 5 feet away from
me and the drunken bastard ignored me.  f.ck the Yankees!!  I'm glad
Boston embarrassed the Yankees, even if it meant my team got drubbed by
them in the World Serious.  I got alot of satisfaction looking at the
disappointment in those overly confident and overpayed Yankee faces.
Too bad Donald Trump doesn't own the Yankees so I could see him tell
Steinbrenner, "YOU'RE FIRED!'
Hope you're feeling better. friend.!  :-)

Yeah, well Mickey was a good judge of character, you whiner.

I was there when he missed sending one out to the street by 3 inches,
and we ain't talking about Fenway park.
That was the hardest ball ever hit.  Oh yeah, and he was a member of the
best ball team in the world.  With the numbers to prove it.

Boston? A fluke.  The idiots type a sentence from Shakespeare.

Naw, the hardest and longest ball ever hit was when my ex kicked my left

Can you imagine what Mickey coulda done if he was sober?
Makes your left nut look like chopped liver (pardon the expression, it's a
NY thing).

Yeah, I've thought about that.  He might even be alive today if he
hadn't drank so much.
