As opposed to "only" a hundred megabytes at yahoo? Unless
one gets email with large binaries all the time, I can't see
how there's much of any difference between any of the free
email services in a practical sense. Infinite size versis
ten times infinity really isn't a significant difference. :-)
The writer trying to target Google's free product is one who
would likely really freak out if (s)he only really knew the
lack of privacy on the internet (unless they're maybe using
a VPN tunnel in a point-to-point fashion).
Every computer one's email passes through on the way from the
sender to the recepient is capable of reading, scanning, and
storing that email. And that can be quite a few. If one
is using WiFi in one's home, neighbors or cars on the street
may be making copies for themselves too.
