Hey guys,

I wanted a way to track my injection sites -- graphically and easily.
So I made this calendar.  Just write in the date of the shot and take
a red pen and mark where you gave yourself the injection.  Voila.  An
easy way to make sure you don't repeat shot sites too soon.  If you're
only going for 24 shots, just cut the bottom off.

Hope someone else finds it helpful.

Keith - I haven't had any problems with just switching back and forth
between two sites (tops of my thighs) and my doctor said that was OK.

Do other people have problems with re-using sites two weeks apart?

Gordo,

We're supposed to avoid the same site for seven weeks.  That's what I
was told.

Wow, I've been just alternating between 2 sites.

I was told to alternate the site, but not given a
specific time frame.  I was also told to avoid any
area that is inflamed or bruised.  Since it takes
about 3 weeks for the redness around the injection
site to completely go away, I alternate around 4
different spots....all on my abdomen.

I injected at the site right above my knees.  Switched back and forth, and
didn't have trouble remembering which was last because the last site was a
little redder than the other side.  Also remembered which side I started on,
so I could count up to the number of shot I was on and get the right side.
Felt like I was doing "eeny menie miney moe, this time you are it."
There was some discoloration of the skin, but a month post treatment now, it
is pretty much faded away.

I was just fine with it.  I only used two sites throughout tx - both
on my belly and alternating weekly.  I did get a bit sore near one
site but that only lasted about three days.  It may have had another
cause because I sometimes have to brush up against peoples bushes when
working and there were nettles at one house.

Thanks Keith, I needed something exactly like this. I will put it up on the
wall of my kitchen, where is where I take my weekly injections. I tried, but
was unable to rely upon my memory.

John,

Glad to hear it.  I just did my 19th shot.  It's so easy to look at
the calendar and clearly see where to do the next shot.  I let my 9
year old nephew pick the shot site today by looking at the calendar.
He thinks its fun.  (Something should be fun about this).

I used indelible ink to paint a large target on my belly and went from
there.....(just kidding, Keith).
