Plant irons are most beneficial to the body because their absorption remains
safely regulated, whereas iron from animal sources tends to accumulate to
levels which increase free radical activity contributing to heart disease,
cancer, and the aging process.

Can you explain more how the absorption rate of plant irons relates to
why animal irons accumulate?

????

Iron from plant sources do NOT have ANY 'effect' .. ON .. the absorption 'rate'
.. of meat / animal / heme-iron ..

Meat / heme-iron is absorbed at 16% or so  ALL THE TIME whereas the iron from
plants is downregulated when one has enough iron on board ..

The body only absorbs 4 - 8 % of the iron from plants and up TO .. 80% .. if ..
need .. be ..
