I just finished week one of a 48 week ticket. Actually, it wasn't as
bad as that for which I had braced. I had some body cramps in my
glutes, abdomen, and lower back that were uncomfortable... but mostly
mild to moderate *discomfort* (as opposed to pain) and they responded
to gentle exercise and a heat pack.
Maybe it's like the guy who jumped off the 10 story building. As he
passed the 9th floor, he was heard to say, "So far, so good,"
I have #2 warming to room temperature... make your fuze proximity, up
200, and fire for effect!

That sounds good.
Shot #2 + 24 hours and I'm feeling OK. I woke up this morning and
decided to walk into the office. It's only about three or four
kilometers of level foot path... nothing much at all; however, I
*really* should have meditated further on that idea. Luckily, our
school librarian happened to be driving by and offered me a lift. In
the future, I'll be more circumspect on the day after.
There's a water aerobics class in the gym this eve. that sounds
appealing. If I crap out, I can just float... and they have a hot
tub!!!
Thanks to all who replied... I'll be lurking about. I'm just really
not up to any spirited debate at the moment, I'm afraid.

I like your analogy of the guy jumping from the 10th floor, ahahahahah.
Glad #1 wasn't too bad.......keep your sense of humor and you'll do just
fine.

Good one. It sounds like you are having a reasonable time of it. My
cramps were on the the thighs but only for a while after the first
shot (so far).

Yeah but tx is more like a bungee jump. Just make sure the elastic
isn't too long.
It took about 7 -8 weeks for my tx to start biting a bit more but it's
been very bearable. Not sure that my ex-boss would agree though :-)

I decided that this was what I was going to do. I also said that
nobody would ever see a long face. I was gonna *act* like I felt
OK... and you know what? I feel OK. Not handspring-turning *GREAT*,
but OK.
Damn. And I was gonna ask the doc for some hydrocodone... I hope he
isn't reading this.
