Agreed, but you have to admit that at times some of the office staff can be very rude and controlling and abrasive. the best way to handle it is to realize that you are not their only patient, that it is a health care situation and that if an emergency comes up with another patient and the doctor has to attend to that patient, and it only took her five minutes to pul the records, julie is lucky she didnt' have to pull them from the back room at the doctors office. Oh that is right, she was dealing with an insurance person, who deals with many more patient records and doctors offices thn just julies doctor. IN other words be Patient, Patient.

For some reason Julie thinks that this is going to be alot like her Chemo therapy for cancer treatment, It is NOT that bad. I dont' think that anyone in here has ever undergone Chemo therapy, so while they may have some valid sides, thhose sides are not going to be insurmountable. Julie if you keep thinking that this is the same it is NOT. Why don't you try to relax a bit, and take one day at a time. Compare the two treatments with one another, the sides are not as debilitating as what you have previosuly experienced. You can't have this mind set before you even begin treatment. Try to find the differneces. The doses are not nearly as high as what you have already been through, in fact they are very light doses. Relax.

What about back in the days before the computer printed out your prescription, and the doctor's writing resembled a spider dipped in ink and allowed to run over the paper. The pharmacists were always getting my thyroid hormone dosage wrong back then, but never once did I call any of them *idiots*. I had some copies of my medical records yaknow, and it is the most difficult thing in the world to read doctors' handwriting. I think that in med school they have lessons on writing like spiders.

However that doesn't change the fact that she is being neat and tidy and listens to nasty gossipers who are simply going to get exactly what they deserve.
Yaknow when I received a friendly email from one of those "good" people telling me that "so and so is a psychopath", I thought, "What a mean vindictive person." and put her in my kill-file. Later on that same person was crowing about "Her God" and acting so self-righteous it wasn't true. Yaknow I can never understand the mentality of people who listen to gossip. I remember years ago we were working on a whole street of houses, and these hags were always warning us about this "That woman at No 7". They all had their statues of Mary on the walls and their crucifixes, and yet their bathrooms and kitchens were so filthy that I turned down every offer of a drink while we worked. We got to No 7 and it was such a lovely house, the woman was a lovely person and she gave us drinks and even baked a cake while we were working there. The "bad woman at No 7" was the nicest woman in the street and all the hags hated her with a passion.
Kinda like this newsgroup where all the hags told me bad things about Hoof, yet Hoof was one of the few I liked talking to from the start. Seems like the hags are now taking a dislike to Robin too.
