Good day every body
Each time I try to use the program "Disk defragmenter " for my
"windows Me" , my computer becomes Haulted and does not complete the
defragmentation ( does not respond to any click)
Please, any body can help?

Saref,

Try posting to a newsgroup that knows something about computers.  This
is a glaucoma newsgroup - one that deals with vision issues.

Start your computer in safe mode- defrag from there.

save yourself lots of frustration over time....get rid of win Me would be
best advice....I used to have all kinds of problems with that system.

I have used Windows/Me for over 3 years now, and I find the system works
great. No major problems at all.
As to the halting, I solved that problem by  closing down all active windows
applications BEFORE starting degrag.
