FWIW I haven't seen a post here in days. Perhaps your original didn't
make it through to all servers?
I wish I had seen it earlier, I would have asked my opthamologist

For the past few weeks there has been an increase in spams finding their
way into the group; I suspect they might discourage posters. The spam is so
inappropriate -- people can be such jerks. Makes me wonder if groups like
ours can survive without moderators with the power to erase the junk.

What a relief to see you all here ; ) --thanks for your answers -- what
a relief , DR. Cohn .oH by the way --sometimes in the Spring I will have
catarachs removed , will I not use the meds during this time ?

Too hard to say...most of us stop Xalatan around the time of surgery
because of a report of possible swelling in the retina with the use of
it. Other drops are usually continued. When I stop Xalatan, I
usually substitute something else. Travatan and Lumigan are in the
same family as Xalatan, so it would make sense to stop them too. BUT,
this is really dependent on a patient's glaucoma and the extent of
nerve damage and IOP elevation...bottom line...ask your doc.
