Key Ring Eye Drop Bottle - Feedback Needed

Hello,

I know some glaucoma patients use medicated eye drops, and I'm wondering if
they would benefit from the "key ring eye drop bottle" that I am designing.
The purpose of the bottle will be to make it easier for eye drop users to
carry their eye drops with them.  The idea was inspired out of frustration
with the occasional severe eye pain caused by my gas permeable contact
lenses.

I am in desperate need of feedback on this idea.  Please help me out by
completing the short survey located at:

http://binarydreams.n3.net/survey.html

The survey only has four or five questions, and will take less than three
minutes to complete.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

I would be concerned about the temperature of the drops. These days
manydtops no longer have to be refrigerated, but they do have to be kept
cool. I have no idea what the temperature is in my pocket or my wife's
purse, but I don't think I would be inclined to risk my drops in either
location.

Adding to previous reply, I would be concerned about the possibility of
contamination of the drops by constant immersion in my pocket.  Also, if use of
this bottle would entail transfer of the medication from its original container
to a new one, I definitely wouldn't use it because of the likelihood of
contamination.  As far as I'm concerned, back to the drawing board!
  But good luck anyway,

Don & MC,

Thanks for the good comments.  I had no idea that some medicated eye drops
were temperature sensitive.  That must be looked into further.

This would definitely be a disposable bottle; refilling it while maintaining
sterility would be a nightmare.  As for the drops becoming contaminated, I
have considered that too.  I don't think it will be a problem because when
the bottle is in a pocket the cap will be on and protecting the dropper tip.

I had a prototype bottle (until someone stole it!) which I used for a week
or so and didn't have any problems.  The cap never came off in my pocket
though.
