OCT and HRT Nerve Analyzer

Can someone please explain the difference between the OCT and HRT ?  Are
they taken the same way?I always took the HRT and now my Opth. said he is
changing to the OCT .He said with the OCT I will have to have my eyes
dialated. I would like to know what to expect. Thanks!

Dilation for OCT, as you say.  And a bright flash at the end, I
am told.
