Is zoloft bad to take if you already have an IOP of 20 in each eye? I need
something for stress as I am also having heart issues and i took one pill
yesterday to start off the cycle and this morning my head feels weird and my
eyes too..I did tell my doctor about my eye issue but he said it would be ok
to take this drug. Is he right?

20 is considered to be within the normal range of IOP. However, it is
still possible to suffer glaucomatose damage for those with normal
tension glaucoma.

I have no knowledge of zoloft, but a search in Rxlist showing the
possible side effects of the drug is in the link below:
http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/sertral_ad.htm (Look under Special
Senses for the side effects on eyes and ears).

Hope this helps.

Yes I see its in there as a very rare side effect but that same side effect
is listed in paxil as well and my doctor said both medicines are safe to
take and will not rise IOP.Thx for your reply.
