I've been using Xalatan for a few months now, and it's reduced my IOP
from mid-20s to about 17.  It does irritate my eyes a bit and gives
me a slight headache.  I've recently had problems with blocked ears,
and wonder if that's a possible side effect?  I don't see anything
like this via web searches.  I'll be seeing my doc soon but wondered
if anyone has any experience with sinus problems as a result of using
Xalatan/Latanoprost?

Derek in Austin TX (allergy capital, maybe related!)

Are you using punctal occlusion when you put the drops in? As soon as
you put the drop in, close your eye and gently press on the corner of
your eye near the nose - over the tear duct - for a couple of minutes.
That will help keep the medication from running down your throat.

Technique (VIDEO)"

I had a couple of decades of earwax build-up removed the other
day and I think that was what was causing the stuffed-up feeling!

But I had a 6-month checkup today and got my doc to change from
Xalatan to Timolol to see if the slight headache goes away.

Interesting, if related to Xalatan.  I'll let you know if things
       change on the new meds.

Thanks,
Derek
