Hello,

I am going to have a GDX test in a few days and I am a bit frightened. I
seemed to remember that laser beam is used: what if the device is defective,
and my eyes get injured?

RELAX!! These things never break...and even so, the "laser" that is
used in most ophthalmic imaging devices is no different than the
helium-neon laser used to scan groceries in the
supermarket...completely safe to look at for the few seconds that the
test takes to do.  Don't worry about the GDx...it's a piece of cake.
