Yup - I was on it for a short period of time. It didn't do much for me,

It is an alpha agonist and was popular briefly because it lowered IOP
nicely...the problem is that nearly 40% of patients become allergic to
the drop within a year or so, causing a red and itchy eye. Alphagan
has all but replaced Iopidine (it's in the same family but has a lower
incidence of allergy)...I haven't written a prescription for Iopidine
in years.

Would people who are allergic to alphagan (like me) also be allergic
to lopidine?
