I use Lumigan when retiring and Timolo when getting up.  I retire at 11
or 11:30 and get up around 6 a.m. This makes the interval from evening
to morning around 7 hours and from morning to evening around 17 hours.
Am I getting full benefit from the drops this way or should I try and
apply them every 12 hours?

I would stick to the schedule you are currently on because of
convenience.  Using the drops at your interval is certainly better
than not using them at all (which is what might happen if you tried to
use them at 9AM and 9PM, for instance).  I know if that were me, I'd
never be able to remember because at 9AM I'm seeing patients and at
9PM I'm busy checking my daughter's homework or putting my little one
to bed.  Better to use them at your convenience...at least you'll be
using them.
Take care,
Dr. Cohn

I am on the same drugs, same regimen, except use the AM drops at 7 AM.
I posed the same question to my GS.  I was told that as Lumigan is a
24 hour drug, and the 2 medications work in different ways, there is
no loss of effect if they are taken at these times.  Since my
pressures have been significantly reduced on this regimen - it seems
to work fine!

Ann

Speaking of drops ; )
Just had to brag a little here --I'm on NO drops for now -thanks to
cataract surgery !  The IOP dropped to 13 in both eyes .My Dr. said when
the IOP drops this much that it's likely it will last --I hope  a LONG
time !          Odd that the dry eye prob is not as bad either .   OH
DR. Cohn --this DR. gave his patients a tiny basket of flowers after
each surgery ; ) do this for yours and they will just love you LOL

Congrats!

I'm not surprised that your dry eyes are better.  The drops probably
had a drying effect.
