HI GRM -- I also have copd ( emphasema )  and developed a cataract after
using Prednisone --the Opthamalogist told me my C was caused from the
meds but did not say which med -However he said the C would not  come
back after surgery -which is April 5 -Monday . I do have cataracts in
Both eyes & glaucoma in both eyes .  Curious to see DR. Cohn's response
to you

Trish, just wanted to say best of luck on your surgery Monday.  Let us
know how it went!

Thanks Leigh --so far so good with the eye -it's so weird to see
differently in each eye --the colors are really bright -almost too much
so with the surgery eye -and much darker on the tan side with the other
eye -whch will be operated on on the 17th of May .Where the articles are
real light -like white -it has a bluesih tinge --also things are smaller
with the surgery eye --MY slim fast can is so little --I'd rther use the
eye with the cararact when I use that for my dinner ; )   There is no
pain with the surgery because they put everything n the kitchen sink
before surgery -BUT it is tedious -someone seems to be sanding down your
eyeball : )  My doc says steroids definitely caused my cataracts .

I'm glad all seems to be going well!  But it doesn't seem fair that
your SlimFast can shrunk while you were at the doctor's office.  ;)
