I've been using Trusopt once a day in my eye that has a trab also for quite
some time. I get bleb leaks every now and then and my doctor increases the
Trusopt to twice a day until the leak heals (in conjunction with doing an
autologous blood injection). When I've done this, I develop a very intense
rash around the bottom of my eye on the skin. My doctor has switched me to
Azopt which has seemed to help. My question is, if Trusopt can cause a bad
skin rash like that, can it also cause perforation of the cornea, and most
importantly on the bleb, over time while using it once a day?
Has anyone ever heard of this?
Thanks in advance.

John,
Your skin rash is likely to be a dermatitis, an allergic reaction
to the drop. Allergic reactions do not cause corneal perforations or
bleb leaks, at least none that I've ever seen or read about. Hope
that helps.

Same reaction, stopped using drops.
