Hi,
Recently I have been posting to these newsgroups regarding my
bad experience with Keppra & losing weight & it's positive effects on my
seizure meds.
Last week I had bleeding on the brain & went to the ER & was
hospitalized for about a week. Apparently, the brain tumor I had removed in
1992 has resurfaced. (The original brain tumor problem is what led to
seizure disorder). I do not know a lot of the details yet or what will be
done, etc.
I would just like to request good wishes & prayers & any info
anyone here might have about this topic. In 1992 there was really no
Internet from which to learn from. Any help you can give is deeply
appreciated. Post here or e-mail me. Thanks a lot :-)

I feel for you. In 1993 my tumour was diagnosed and I asked my friends to
pray for me. Even those who were non-believers prayed and I felt supported
on a pillow of love.

I'll be thinking of you and pray for you.

No, there wasn't. If only I'd had the wealth of information there is now
available I'd have been far happier. I couldn't even learn from the medical
staff.

Knowledge is power.

Do let us know how you get on, what your diagnosis is, your treatment, your
prognosis ...

I shan't be the only one thinking of you.

Elevated iron levels in the brain have been closely linked to the developement
of epilepsy.
Spilled blood in the brain leaves a residue of iron and unless this iron is
dealt with the damage becomes worse .. IE: head trauma patients ..

Neuroblastoma years ago pretty much handed you a death sentence .. now they are
using iron binders and antirust / antioxidants to fight the rust / oxidation
which occurs due to this iron ..

Who loves ya.
