Thanks, that info is very encouraging! I just had a right temporal lobectomy
less than 2 weeks ago... still don't know what the results are going to be,
although I'm healing up pretty well and haven't had any seizures since the
day before the surgery (13 days and counting).
So it's so far, so good. :)

So, you had the right temporal lobe lobectomy less than 2 weeks ago and you
haven't had any seizures. That sounds encouraging. :-)
Good luck.

Good to hear from you!
Can you tell us more bout the surgery?

It's been more than 3 months since your surgery. How are you coming
along?

Thanks for asking! I'm doing very well - still no seizures (I've just passed
the 100-day mark!). The depression lifted after about 8 weeks, and the only
effect that I still feel is severe fatigue by the end of the day (if you
don't count the numb spots on my scalp). I'm working 6-hour shifts now -
that's really all I can manage. But I'm fairly confident that by the end of
the summer, I'll be fit for a full 40-hour work week.
I'd like to try reducing my meds now, but the neuro said we have to wait at
least a year (the surgeon said 2 years).
Amazingly, my memory doesn't seem to have been affected at all.
