Now you come to mention it, I tend to get seizures when I'm excited,
angry, asleep, or even if I just have to do something I don't like, such
as the washing up perhaps.

In fact practically every emotion, other than sitting still and doing
nothing, will cause me to have a tonic-clonic seizure - it's scary!

LOL!

Oh, the times my mother scolded me for always wanting to go to the lav when
I was asked to wash up:-(

When our children did the same I realised that it was the sound of the
running water which caused the need so I didn't scold - but they didn't get
out of it!

It's a waste of life to do nothing, tcs can be scary but at least it's
something. And the washing up does get done eventually ...

Hello Mary, I just wrote back to say how happy I was that there are
others who have experienced the "sound of running water" syndrome, which
makes me feel I'm not alone.

This was especially embarrassing once, when I went to visit my
mother-in-law for the day. Whilst going to the kitchen to help out with
dinner, it happened during an aura whilst peeling and washing the
potatoes for a roast.

It was lucky I'd brought a spare pair of jeans and undergarments
with me. Despite hubby still complains that it's "all in the mind", he
always manages to have a good laugh with me after getting back home.

I'm also on a high dose of keppra, but only take a couple of diazepam
(valium) after a seizure and I, like Theo, have never had a problem with
any kind of smell from these drugs.

Are you sure it isn't something you're eating -  hot curries or something?

there was another thread about perspiration I just saw this morning. I do
get that, but didnt know why. For the bad smell... maybe I just didnt
notice or wasnt told. I heard that its impossible to tell when ones breath
is bad, including the old standby of covering the mouth and sniffing.
