Welcome to this group!

I am from the Netherlands and can understand what you are talking about
-unfortunately I do not speak Germany very wel.. Maybe you try combination
of German / Dutch / English. I am sure someone will understand!

Ein bischen! Ich habe nicht deutsch seit 30 jahre in der schule
gelernt!

Leider gibt's niemand hier das gut sprechen. Aber vieleicht konnen Sie
Englisch lesen? Dann mit ein Ubersetzung von Deutsch nach Englisch ist
es möglich das Sie schreiben Deutsch und Wir schreiben Englisch. Konnen
Wir das versuchen?

Strange that there isn't a support group like this one in Germany. Maybe you
can address this to the German Epilepsy Foundation?

There are ones in German of course, but by nature of its requirements,
Usenet (this newsgroup) is international in scope. Many newsgroups
consist of a predominance of posts in one language (English for this
one), but it should be no suprise to anyone if conversations take place
in another - French, Spanish, Dutch, German, you-name-it. I think our
German friend was just checking to see who was in the audience. :-)

Diskussionsforum. Take a look
Ein Epilepsie-Netzwerk braucht den Austausch und die offene Aussprache.
Dafür ist eine Newsgroup wie geschaffen. Dieses Forum ist frei und
unbearbeitet. Beleidigende, störende, sexistische und rassistische
Einträge werden allerdings von uns entfernt.

I suspect that she/he already knows about it though.

Hallo!
Ich heiße Kim.
Ich sebst leide nicht an Epilepsie, mein Partner aber. Allerdings wurde es erst
vor kurzem festgestellt. Er hat generalisierte tonisch-klonische Anfälle.
Diesen Monat habe ich das erste mal einen Anfall mitbekommen. Es war
erschreckend und neu für mich. Ich habe mir jedoch in kürzester Zeit eine Menge
Wissen angeeignet und wusste daher wie ich damit umzugehen hatte...
