Oh perish the thought!
It's not about politics - and votes - is it?
I just heard Ms Rice saying that it's up to America to free the world. The
American definition of free I assume ... And in no time at all Our Glorious
Leader will be kissy kissy ...

There's a 30 year-running TV show here called The Nature of Things, listed
within http://cbc.ca ? (our equiv. of BBC). One of the previews of a show
to run yet, is Dr. David Suzuki speaking at a Grade School -- so technically
I stole his phrase in last sentence above. He says imagine someone coming
to visit our planet and seeing all the products and building materials that
can be made from Plastics and Petroleum byproducts, and they (supposedly)
comment "You people Burned all that resource?"

It was either someone there, or in Kosovo, when asked why the world
didn't come to rescue them, said "We have no oil" .... Kuwait was 'rescued'
from Sadam as he set fire to the oil fields. He wanted a pipeline route to
a coastline, for export traffic.

Yeah, maybe he should drop in to Guantanamo (sp?) and speak to the people
being held 'offshore', so outside of U.S. (U.N.?) law. I'm sure after 3+?
years they have a perception what a 'free world' (without trial or contact
with a lawyer) feels like.

You don't come across as old. Just sensible.

If Blair dissapears somewhere in Guantanamo, or Bermuda, don't you think
another stinking leader might take his place - someone like another
raving dictator like Hitler perhaps?
