Well, today I heard back from the doctor after my video/EEG monitoring, and
they're willing to do the surgery: right temporal lobe resection. I have to
have a few questions answered by the surgeon, but I'm leaning towards it.
I'd love to hear about anyone's experiences with this procedure.
Merry Christmas to everyone on the group!
see you all after the New Year,
Hilary

Hilary,
I had part of my right temporal lobe removed in July 1999 and remain
seizure-free on a small amount of dilantin.  I had it done at Mass.
General.  You can google me (use almacdee@bellatlantic.net) in the
newsgroup for what I wrote about it as it was going on, or email.

Thanks Liz. You've been very helpful.
Next Monday I meet the surgeon, so I want to have some intelligent questions
for him.
