Howdy!

My vagus nerve stimulator appears to have either dramatically decreased or
eleminated my complex partial seizures.

I'm still having simple partials but, what the heck, I'm not gonna' kill
myself in the kitchen due to a SP!

It's probably due to the VNS, my current meds (Keppra & Triliptal) and
getting a full night's sleep. (I'm using a CPAP machine for sleep apnea
these days.)

Awesome to hear Dave!!
I'm really thrilled (and Jealous, lol).
Curious to know, how long have you had the VNS and why do you suppose it
wasn't working before?

Cheers and congrats.
Darryl.

Howdy Darryl!

I don't know FOR A FACT that it is doing anything for me due to the fact
that I live alone and have no confirmation about my CPs, just a definate
maybe...

Like I said -- it's probably due to the fact that I'm getting a full 9 hours
of sleep every day and that I'm on a consistant sleep schedule (albeit a 2nd
shift sleep schedule!)

Hi Dave

Congratulations!  When I saw your post, it was like so many other reports that
I've seen by people with OSA who started using CPAP.  You can be pretty certain
that your improvement has nothing to do with the VNS and is due to using CPAP
equipment. A good night's sleep is always helpful & welcome. :-)

I wish I did.

I wish I got 9 hours sleep at night ....
