BlankAnyone who got a message thread, on this newsgroup, related to above subject, your virus program should have discarded any attachments to it, as it's infected with code that will bypass windows cleanup software. (Norton and the bulkmail cleaner my cable company uses pulled off the attachment.)
If it appears on your message threads, just leave it to expire. Don't open any attachments it contains. It is crossposted to about 6-7 newsgroups, including this one, likely by robot.
I'm only reporting this one since it has that Windows Advisory on my Anti Virus blocker, in case others don't get that service. G./

I won't see it because I don't see any posts sent to more than 1 group
:))
Thanks for the warning though.

He's always warning us about spam my news server filters. I never see
the junk he is posting about.

My news server filters out a lot of it too, but t's better to be
warned than not. There'll always be people who aren't as aware of
these things as you and I :))
It took me an hour to convince someone I know that the virus he found
on his PC wasn't any such thing at all and the email warning him about
it was a hoax. It was the very well known Teddy Bear hoax :))
Someone else in another group was utterly convinced that the Microsoft
Security Patch that had been sent to her in an email was genuine!! It
took a while to sort out her PC ;)) She's wiser now :))
