I used to have seizure clusters every few weeks for about 2-3 days at a time. Now I still seem to have this occur only when I trigger it from exhaustion, etc., but only in the form of simple partials. Has anybody else had this occur? How much time lapses before your next > cluster? My seizures generally were related to hormone changes, but I'm a female, so you can't count my experiences I guess. It's a good idea to keep a calendar or some kind of log as to when these are happening. The only thing I noticed while keeping a log (my log included how much time elapsed between seizures, or what time the seizure occured) that seemed weird is there was a pattern. I'd have a seizure, 12 hours later another, 6 hours later another, 3 hours, 1 1/2 hours and finally 45 minutes later another. Then coming out of the cluster priod another seizure at 1 1/2 hours, 3, 6, 12 hours. Notice how the length of time is half through the first half of the cluster and then coming out of the cluster the time is doubled. That was the pattern for many years, but when I got closer to menopause, the pattern went all haywire. Anyway, keeping a calendar or log is a good idea and maybe even adding notes on your environment and other factors might help you discover a pattern or triggers. It was a pituitary tumor that was taken out in July of '98 and it did cause some type of hormone emission problems (I can't remember what it was called). There doesn't seem to be any particular cause, though exhaustion sometimes does factor into it. When they do occur, they're complex partials, but are different from my normal C.P's. (I only ever have C.P's) I'll have up to around 30 seizures in a row with about 45 seconds break in between - usually just enough time for my wife to shove some Clobazam down my throat, which seems to sort it out within 20 to 30 minutes.
