I was speaking to my attorney and he was asking how my seizures were. I told
him I was doing great and I couldn't sleep. I laughed and told him I was
going to start drinking a couple cocktails before bedtime or smoke a joint
either one to help me sleep. He said to stick with the alcohol. I mentioned
to him about the testing of Marijuana for use in Epilepsy patients and he
said that the Federal government has stopped the use of all pot for
medicinal purposes. They have taken the stance that it is illegal and if a
doctor recommends it then the DR is just as guilty and will be charged as
the patient that thinks it is ok to be in possession of it. He said there
are no circumstances in the USA where pot is allowed for medical use. He did
say it was used for Glaucoma at one point in time but the feds put a stop to
that as well. Possession is possession no matter what you have it for.
