Hello guys,

I hope you all are well.

Today I had an appointment with my neurologist. The results of the CT-scan
and the blood levels were OK. The feedback I gave her regarding what
happened during my first "testing period while I was taking 1000 mg Depakene
per day (which is the lowest I could get in regards to my weight and my
size", did not seem to persuade my neurologist to increase the dosage.
Actually she said, "the epilepsy you have (ideopathic generalised epilepsy
in both the frontal lobes) should not give you these symptoms while Depakene
does give you these symptoms".

The next meeting is scheduled next year :-)))) Hopefully I will not have any
seizures anymore and as I learnt from my mistakes, I will take care of
myself a little bit more which means: no alcohol for me, (trying to get) a
good nap of sleep daily, (trying to) avoid stress, etc., etc., etc.

I would like to thank you all for all the support -I will however still read
this newsgroup and post whatever I can to contribute.

Take care.

Bye,
Marco

Great news Marco
-I really think that the key to taking control of our epilepsy is finding a
balance of meds and life style and never being afraid to move forward and
try new things or change old ways.
Take care and enjoy ..
Jim!
