Sorry people....I know that I haven't been posting anything lately,
but my Doctor has been "Adjusting" the combination of my daily pills,
and the intake of there of.
To him it's an "simple Adjustment" [HIS WORDS}, but to me it's
painful......
Right now .....in this moment, I feel todays pills, and I think I have
over toxed my system.
I can't live like this......I am going to disregard his last opinion,
and cut back by 200mg's. [I'll do it 100 at a time-don't want to shock
my system]
tell me what "YOU" think........
Has anyone here received any bad advice from any doctors?
G-MAL :(

I can't find anywhere where you've ever listed which pills you take or
seizure types, unless your signature is supposed to be it. (I usually only
save Medication posts that would have to do with Temporal Lobe/ Complex
Partial types anyway, if any were about new Meds. Since I don't have G.Mal
I might not keep older posts.)
Perhaps if you list the Dose of pills you're using and their Names, and
Frequency someone could comment. It's usually better to reduce at rates
the Doctor or Pharmacist suggest since some of the pills (like Tegretol)
can behave erratically if they are promptly cut at too fast a rate for your
optimum dose level, your weight, metabolism rates ,etc.
But information at Top, doesn't list anything about seizure type (except
signature) or Med. used or doses. /G.

My pills are; 400mgs\DILANTIN + 800\Gen-Carbamazepine-cr{teg's} in the
evening........and 600mgs\tegs + 200 D's in the morning {200mgs more
of tegs during the day...was his advice.}
the location of my attacks are the frontal, and temporal lobes....and
as you can see ........they are severe. I feel more like a "lab rat"
than a patient at times..I was also informed by my neurologist after
my EEG'S , and CAT scans....that it is impossible to operate, if they
were to do so.....I would be left a vegtable...{the "left" never
knowing... what the "right" is doing}
WOULD YOU?

What do you mean painful? Are you having gastro upset or something else
that is going on?

Did they do liver function tests and what were the results? Saw your
other post with the meds you use. Are you cutting back on both of them?.
> Has anyone here received any bad advice from any doctors?
Well, not really bad advice, but I've had doctors disagree with each
other.
