What rate is best for preventing photosensitive seizures?

I assume you mean Refresh Rate of the screen.  Normally those are preset
by the manufacturer.  But there might be specific articles, if you are more
prone, at the Ep. Foundation of  America site -->  http://efa.org .

Some people (here) 4-5 years ago, had to use a LCD Screen since they were
Especially prone to flicker rates.   G./

I do not have photosensitive seizures but I read that LCD screens are the
best to prevent. They however cost you a couple of bucks.  At my place I
have the following configured (no LCD, just normal monitor).

Display properties within Configuration Screen (Windows XP English release):

Setting tab
Display: Dell E771a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420 Display
Color quality: Highest (32 bit)
Screen resolution: 1024 x 768 pixels

Advanced tab / Adapter tab / List All Modes

1024 x 768, True Color (32 bit), 75 Hertz

You may also want to check the manufacturers website (in my case) whether
you need to update the driver software for your video card / monitor. The
actual answer to your question however will be: it depends. You may want to
test around a bit with your own display monitor / software.

Take care.
