I assume you mean Refresh Rate of the screen. Normally those are preset

I do not have photosensitive seizures but I read that LCD screens are the
best to prevent. They however cost you a couple of bucks. At my place I
have the following configured (no LCD, just normal monitor).
Display properties within Configuration Screen (Windows XP English release):
Setting tab
Display: Dell E771a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420 Display
Color quality: Highest (32 bit)
Screen resolution: 1024 x 768 pixels
Advanced tab / Adapter tab / List All Modes

You may also want to check the manufacturers website (in my case) whether
you need to update the driver software for your video card / monitor. The
actual answer to your question however will be: it depends. You may want to
test around a bit with your own display monitor / software.

I just set mine to 75hz the other day and now i find it much more
comfortable viewing the screen.
