My son assures me that 'Verklempt' is Yiddish for peeped off.

I thought it meant Confused or Distracted.   On Barbra Streisand's Farewell
Concert she was trying to concentrate and someone shouted he loved her or ??
from the crowd, and she says something like 'is this the audience
participation part?  you're going to make me all Verklempt, now quiet
down..."    THEN she went into "Memories" (the song).  G./

Here's a translation for the goyim.
Verklempt - Extremely emotional.  On the verge of tears. (See "Farklempt")

Farklempt - Too emotional to talk.  Ready to cry. (See "Verklempt)

I thought it was a Chill on the Group from some posts a few days ago that
got away from the 'Support' part of the title. Those used to happen from
time to time (the drop in Posts) when that happened.   Others might be away.

Hello Darryl.

Are you still speaking to me, a Brit who lives only two miles from
Headingley?

Well......umm, have you offended me in some way in which I can't remember?
If so, then I'm not talking to you, but the great thing about epilepsy is
that I have no memory, so even if you did, it doesn't matter cos I've
forgotten.
By the way, I have no idea where Headingly is, sorry. Is it somewhere near
Auckland?? lol.

Cheers

Headingley is where the recent Test Match was played ... I believe it
finished on Monday.

I just checked out your website and it looks great.
Only thing that I noticed was that you may want to go over some of the text
and proof read for grammar and spelling. Apart from that it's easy to
navigate, looks good and is informative.

Regarding the VNS implant; I've been after information about the possibility
of having that done either here in NZ or in Oz. All your information seems
to be about America. Do you know if it's available here in New Zealand? As
far as I'm aware it isn't, but I may be wrong. Also, do you know how much it
costs in Australia? My wife is from Sydney, so we may be able to work it so
that I get it on her medical card. (Can't remember what they're called).
Thanks for any help you can give.
As a last resort, I guess I could just do the obvious and talk to my
neurologist or epilepsy association about it........   :-)

Cheers.

Darryl.
