hey all

is the absorption of my meds dilantin and valproric acid reduced when taken
with high fiber foods? i think i read something about this, but i can't find
it. for instance, i take my meds in the morning, with about 800 bowls of
raisin bran or muslix. i'm addicted.

but does anyone know anything about meds and bran?

thanks,
phil

Dilantin absorption is definitely impacted by when you take it with relation
to meals as well as what those meals consist of.  I personally found taking
it with meals rather than several hours before or afterwards required me to
add 100mg to my daily dose.
