I had a 16 foot 2x4 fall on my head at work today, it fell from about
10 feet into the top of my head.  That was 5 hours ago and I still
feel dizzy.  Is this a brain conclusion?
I dont have insurance so I cant afford a doctor.

Assuming this post is "real" (sorry...;-), do see a doctor
immediately. If you are not poor, the charge for a visit
with a GP is not great; if you are poor, there are provisions
for this in the US (and likely many other places), and the
charge may be small or none for a doctor's or a hospital
emergency room visit. A "concussion" is entirely possible,
and should be checked into...

Doesn't your employer have worker's compensation?  If you are injured on
the job, worker's comp should pay the medical bills.

**** I expect his Employer also had Legal Obligations wrt. taking him to a
Doctor when it happened and having him checked out.  I don't know many
places in N.America that are immune from Liability for accidents happening
on the job.   G./

Hi

I mean this with respect: go to a doctor.

The people on this group can not help you with this problem. Gross's answer
was a good one. I would add,  get a lawyer.

You can afford a computer. You can afford a doctor. Get off the internet and
go to a hospital. They will bill you later when you win your case.

Why did you log onto an epilepsy support group when you got injured on your
job?

This is a case for a medical professional, not people with seizure
disorders.

Good luck

Mark

I'm ok now.  The next day I only had a slight lump on my head.  I'm
self employed, so there is noone to pay the doctor bills.  I watch
this group on occasion since I have epilepsy.  I thought the accident
might cause a seisure.  and, yes, it's concussion, not the way I
spelled it.

Thanks to all

Oh thank goodness! I wondered ...

Glad you're alright and that the incident has reached a satisfactory
conclusion :-)
