First let me start off by saying how much I have appreciated the discourse
in here.  Some has helped...some has been a mite irritating but overall I
have been very grateful for the venue.

Two days ago my son had a Sleep-deprived Video EEG.  This has been a
quarterly event as we have been adjusting my son's meds and then checking.
On Wednesday he had his first "Normal" EEG since we started this ordeal over
3 years ago!  Lamictal seems to be what's done the trick for him.  He's
presently on Lamictal and Topomax.  We're going to wean him off the Topomax
after school is out for the summer so if there is a problem we can get him
back on it before school starts in the fall.

But, finally some good news indeed!

Good news is always nice to hear.  The successes help others think
positively.   A normal EEG on the sleep deprived is nice to hear too.
